A network name is not an asset list
Support for SOL does not automatically mean support for every token issued on Solana. The reverse is also not safe to assume. A payment comparison should identify the asset and network together, with a source for the exact combination.
Network performance is only one component
Solana’s documentation explains its transaction-fee model. A network-level property should not be used as a proxy for the time a third-party operator spends reviewing an account. An internal delay can exist even when the underlying network is operating normally.
Separate broadcast from credit
A transaction can have an on-chain status while a receiving service still applies its own crediting policy. Conversely, a pending withdrawal displayed inside an account may not yet have produced a network transaction. These stages should be named in any speed comparison.
Record the actual terms
Useful fields include the asset, the receiving service’s supported route, minimums, the fee shown at the time of a quote and account-verification conditions. Avoid generalising from a single network fee to a total customer cost.
How to compare responsibly
Use current primary documentation and do not infer eligibility from a payment logo. A service can support a network while restricting customers in a particular jurisdiction. Read the three withdrawal clocks and the complete fee picture before interpreting a speed or cost claim.
